Principal’s Message

Development College of International is a private educational institute for adult learners that aims to fulfil their educational dreams. We design the lesson plans based on the student’s profile based on their demography, cognitive skills and social needs. This enables students to learn without any barriers.

It is the right place for them to merge their practical familiarity with the subjects that interest them with a disciplined academic course that standardizes and develops their knowledge and understanding. Academic and Examination Board of Eduprospect Development College has the responsibility to develop and
review the policies and procedures of all academic matters, including but not limited to

Academic Board’s Rules and Responsibility

1. Develop a set of standards to ensure the academic quality of every course to be offered or provided by the EDC,
   • The content of the modules or subjects of the course
   • The duration of the course.
   • The appropriate entry and graduation requirements.
2. Approve each person who is deployed to teach any course offered or provided by EDC or any module or subject thereof, after determining that the person possess the minimum qualifications and/or experience.
3. Review the Academic policies and procedures biannually for the continuous improvement in education provided by the EDC.
4. Perform an advisory role on the Learning, teaching and assessment, utilization and structure of the academic year and new programs.
5. Monitor the academic standards to ensure that they are consistent with appropriate quality assurance standards
6. Monitor student assessment to ensure that they are consistent with appropriate quality assurance standards.
7. Consider the development of the academic activities of the EDC and the resources needed to support them.

Examination Board’s Rules and Responsibility

1. The security of examination scripts and answer scripts
2. The conduct of examinations and assessments
3. The duties and responsibilities of invigilators and markers
4. The moderation of examination and assessment marks
5. The handling of appeals from students with regard to examination or assessment matters
6. Approve overall unit grades
7. Ensure the proper discharge of duties and responsibilities of invigilators and markers
8. Determine and approve student progression from one Module to another Module
9. Make recommendations to the award of certificates
10. Approve graduate lists and consider graduate moderation
